Once there carried on a man who was talented with the intensity of taking a gander at a similar item in a wide range of designs here and there as a painter would take a gander at it, now and again as a naturalist, some of the time as a physicist, at different occasions as a writer and not one of those styles was shallow (Valley. 1958). With all the specialized advances from today, most craftsman and innovators are roused by this man. Leonardo exemplified the resurgence, living, see, and delivering workmanship and innovation that despite everything describes that time of discovery. When individuals consider Leonardo father Vinci, for the most part the primary thing that strikes a chord is The Dad Vinci Code with Tom Hanks. Be that as it may, in all actuality individuals would state he was one of the best masterful and logical men of the Italian Renaissance Age. â€Å"The Last Supper† and the â€Å"Mona Lisa† are among perhaps the best show-stopper. These craftsmanship pie ces were path in front of Dad Vine's time. Leonardo was a painter or craftsman as well as he was an innovator answerable for delivering structures going from early tanks and submarines to the progressive â€Å"flying machine. His examination and authority of a wide scope of controls, including model, reasoning, and building, made Leonardo a modestly of the soul of his age, and the representation of the term â€Å"Renaissance man. â€Å"(Ryan and Adagio, 2005) We could begin back when Dad Vinci first was destined to see the acumen of a splendid brain. April fifteenth, 1452 Leonardo was conceived in Vinci, Italy. Who knew on that day a newborn child would grow up to be known as the widespread virtuoso. He was raised by his dad Piper father Vinci, a legal official in Florence. At an early age Leonardo showed a significant masterful ability so when he was fifteen Leonardo moved to Florence, Italy, this is when is life begun to bloom, he was Andrea del Veronica's understudy. Overall wa s a notable craftsman for his time and started to appear and create Leonardo in painting and finishing models (Goldman. 1997). Leonardo remained working with Veronica's until he turned 25. He at that point proceeded onward and went through the following five years painting a wide range of works of art with various specialists. Not Just known or a craftsman, Leonardo additionally was an innovator; there are three modest little note pads that house an assortment of his works likewise called the Codex Forester, which are currently kept in the Victoria and Alberta Museum in London, England. They are accepted to have been composed somewhere in the range of 1495 and 1497 (Mills, 2008). First let me talk around one of his most acclaimed compositions, â€Å"Last Supper† he started to paint this piece in 1495 and this piece was appointed by the Duke for the community of Santa Maria dell Gracie. He attempted to finish this artistic creation as a painting on the divider utilizing oil-based paint, however lamentably the paint didn't hold fast to the divider and was a finished disappointment. Anyway this carries me to the astonishing artistic creation â€Å"The Mona Lisa†, this artwork speaks to style and unadulterated excellence. Leonardo chipped away at this artistic creation for a long time until 1506. In 1506 Dad Vinci surrendered take a shot at the â€Å"Mona Lisa† to be the aesthetic counsel to the city's French representative â€Å"Charles demise's† in line with King Louis XII of France . (Ryan and Adagio, 2005) In 1513 Leonardo left Milan and made a trip to Rome, Italy in line with Pope Leo X.Once he showed up he was given an extensive craftsmanship studio to finish a greater amount of his work. Father Vinci stayed in Rome for a long time, whil e there he finished just one significant piece and that was a progression of drawings which were titled â€Å"The Deluge†. Later on in 1517, King Francis I asked Leonardo to France and was going to make him the regal painter, modeler, and repairman to the lord. He acknowledged and was given a compensation and a spot to live in the castle at Cloud. While he was there he turned into an instructor to various youthful motivating specialists to assist them with proceeding onward into their career. It was a pitiful day on the second of May 1 519, this is the day that Leonardo Dad Vinci left this world to come back to our wonderful dad in the sky. He was encircled by the rulers court in Cloud when he died. Leonardo will consistently be known for the incredible craftsman he was and instructor he has ingrained on a considerable lot of us. I think everybody has a tad bit of Leonardo in them whether it be painting or from developing to carpentry. At the point when individuals compose the y compose with their souls, I know when Leonardo painted it was from his heart.People knew Leonardo father Vinci as an incredible painter, yet my examination additionally found the a wide range of gifts this extraordinary man had. Being one of the top innovators on the planet he was answerable for a large number of the advancements that had happened during the renaissance time frame. He was as much a designer as a craftsman. In spite of the fact that he never fabricated a large number of the creations he structured, a portion of the things he imagined in the late backtalk are being used today, including helicopters and parachutes. Father Vinci was fixated on war, and he portrayed a heavily clad vehicle that could convey eight men inside and permit them to shoot weapons through gaps in its walls. He drew ND expounded on what we today call tanks over 400 years before they were first utilized in battle during World War l. (Award, 2010) Leonardo Dad Vinci is the key character that illumi nated the Renaissance with its exceptional ability. Other significant figures, for example, Francesco Did Giorgio, have left a rich heritage, particularly in engineering and apparatus plan. Presently when you close your eyes and picture a plane or even a fowl you could imagine yourself such that Leonardo Dad Vinci did when he thoroughly considered his developments.

Introduction As much as music is a universal thing, it is so subjective and relative such that to one person it may be music but to another person it may not be. This therefore complicates the whole issue of the origin of music, which most people speculate to be from those early ages, yet they cannot specially say the dates. In the same way, music is a depiction of art, emotions, culture and ideology of a specific society at a certain period and the styles of music, the sounds and the instruments that accompany it keep on evolving as the society evolves. The basic element of music, which is indispensable when people are dancing, is rhythm. Therefore, a dance is always accompanied by a certain rhythm that most probably guides the dancers’ styles and speed of body movement. This therefore means that music and dance are great partners from the early history of human life. In the corner of everyday life, there lurks music of all forms. For instance, any blow on objects like shell whistle, reeds, and bamboos produce some moan. To some extent, the wind also does that when in high speed, producing some kind of rhythm. However, the most outstanding the human voice that has the ability to delightfully go up and down at his/her will. There are several periods of historical music and how it evolved as discussed below. Beginning with pre-historic music, the earliest form of music was majorly based on natural instruments that were readily available in those days like sticks, rocks, hones, reeds among others. These simplest forms of music are assumed to be used when the people were performing religious ceremonies like animal sacrifice and others. However, there is no writing or notations of such kind of music but it can only be extrapolated from the music of native Africans and red Indians in America who still perform such kind of religious practices and embrace those ancient songs. The evolution of instruments of music was very slow but steady in the early years. However, it is suggested that the voice of man was probably the first instrument of music when he wanted to imitate the nature’s rhythm or to get along with the ancient rituals. This was followed steadily by the clapping of hands or heating two objects together just to supplement the rhythm of the voice.   Ancient music is a name g iven to the music produced at the times when writing begun to develop among the humans. Therefore, the development of writing helped record musical practices and thus helping us know the invention of music notation system, and the record of the instruments of this period. The more elaborate form of early music can be traced to the civilization of the Greeks who drew much from the Egyptian and the Mesopotamian culture. Arguably, by the time of Greek’s emergence on the historical stage, these two ancient civilization had made several inventions of most musical instruments for families like strings, reeds, drums, flutes and brass. During this early period, music had basically two major roles in the society of man: entertainment and ceremony like social, religious or civic. The most popular instruments to the Greeks at this time were the aulos, which looked like a bow and the lyre, which looked like a harp. The view of Greek philosophers on music was that it was the harmony under lying the universe and some added an argument that music performance has an influence on the behavior of man. The knowledge of music in the bible if mostly referred to the culture and traditions of the Israelites. The music and religion Historian named Leckyer Herbert says that both vocal and instrumental music in the bible were cultivated among the Hebrews and it is evidenced in the writings of the bible. Therefore, the Old Testament is a revelation of the devotion of God’s people through the practice of music as it is held in the prophetic books of the bible. Even the prophets of the bible were themselves musicians like Miriam the prophetess took her tambourine during the Exodus and led the women in dance, song, and celebration for the Lord’s triumph over the Egyptians. King soul also comes to an encounter with prophets of the sanctuary who gave prophecies while accompanied by instruments. Additionally, the bible quotes Ezekiel the prophet as a person with a very beautiful voice played an instrument perfectly well. In the same way, King David performed religious music because he wrote the book of Psalms full of religious songs and messages that are sung up to date. The study of ancient biblical music has been majorly on the instruments of Israelites and Palestine. From the data of archeologists, it is clearly demonstrated that music was one of the basic things of life in the ancient Israeli community. This therefore means that even during the biblical times as it is recorded, music was used to communicate important messages apart from being used as a worship and entertainment. Moreover, it is during the Middle Ages that the tradition of western music begun due to the developments in the social and religious status in Europe. Due to the domination of the Catholic Church in this period, the most prevalent form of music was the sacred music. However, it was during the 12th century that organum music developed from sacred music and performed in Paris. There was a fluorescent of secular music by the French people and the period culminated until the genius western secular music was composed. The Christian church of this period derived their music styles and hymns from the already existing Jewish religion. In a certain time during the 9th century, the musicians’ theorists in the church tried a new style of music through experimentation when they simultaneously sang tow melodic lines in parallel intervals.   Music also went through an era known as the renaissance period. The baroque music had the terraced dynamics, which were clearly seen when the dynamics were maintained for a while, and then a sudden change in them is done. The demand for music had now gone high again and the music composers were to write many new songs, as the listeners were not interested in listening to that old music. The court musicians were most valued and paid more than those from the church. People usually became musicians more than tho se from the church did. People usually became musicians mainly through inheritance and apprenticeship. Children were really trained on the methods of composing music. Before one could become a musician, he or she was to pass certain tests. The music also went ahead to another level known as the classical period. At this age, music differed with the Baroque age in that it was accompanied by different moods. The moods of the music could be changing in a slow and well-defined manner or even a sudden change depending on the composer. In order to engage the audience involvement, the music was accompanied by crescendo as well as decrescendo styles[footnoteRef:9]. The piano was now commonly used because of its ability to change dynamics easily. The composers of this era started making control of their composing rather than composing songs as per the expectations of the people. There emerged rich class of people who played a role in enlarging the music sector. Many people were now interested in their children being taught music lessons in the schools. Due to this reason every composer had a different and a unique style of performance. Being romantic, this kind of music was accompanied a lot of emotions. The music could usually be composed in two different styles. One of the styles is the nationalism. Nationalism saw the composers composing songs in the style of their homeland. The other style was the exoticism. This style was characterized by the composers composing songs to match foreign land[footnoteRef:10]. There mainly existed a type of music called the program music. This kind of music was composed to illustrate a certain event, story or a scene. One of the main program composers was Hector Berlioz. The composers used ranging dynamics which ran from pppp to ffff. The composers also introduced new instruments in their composing. One of the main instrument which was introduced was the piccolo. In this era, the composers ceased from being employed and started composing songs on their own base. Many homes were interested in music and purchased musical instruments mainly the piano. [10:   Kelly, Gary. English Fiction of the Romantic Period 1789-1830. Routledge, 2016. The music then went ahead to another step known as the twentieth century. In this era, the tone color was very crucial and many techniques were now applied. The composers of the songs used many percussive instruments. Some of these instruments which were used include the glissando as well as the down the scale. In this era, songs were composed with the exemption of the traditional tone system. The rhythmic patterns were expanded in this type of music[footnoteRef:11]. Different types of rhythms were combined in one song through the involvement of different sections of composers at a time. Music had now become very popular as a result of the available radio broadcasts, mass printing of music copies and recording. It was now easy for anyone to access music in an easy manner than before. It is in this era where women joined the music industry in large numbers. [11:   Landy, Frank J., and Jeffrey M. Conte. Movie Gravity Renews Debates about Hard Science Fiction

Relationship between science (or, rather, reality) and science fiction has always been turbulent. Some people (what is worth noting, not necessarily scientists) say that fiction should adhere to the scientific facts as closely and as faithfully as possible. Others think it to be unnecessary – after all, a science fiction book isn’t the same as a physics textbook, and has completely different purposes. If the writer needs something to be different from reality or simply cannot be bothered to investigate all the minute details before starting to write – why is he wrong? If readers feel pleasure reading him, what’s the problem? Movie Gravity was announced in the news as a new take on hard science fiction in cinematic industry. And it immediately showed that no matter how hard editors and directors strive to achieve this â€Å"hardness†, there will always be somebody who is able to find fault with their work. In this case, it was astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who, after praising the film for both its plot and adherence to scientific accuracy, still found some mistakes in its depiction of space. For example, Hubble telescope and a Chinese space station can never be visible from the same spot, debris and satellites orbit the Earth in the wrong direction, characters’ hair behave unrealistically in zero gravity and so on. Little mistakes which have no influence on the plot, but still mistakes. Some do it better, some do it worse. And while in literature there is a very strong subgenre of hard science fiction, striving to keep as close to reality as possible, in movies it is not so widespread. The reason is simple – directors often think that realistic depiction of science fiction will be uninteresting for the viewers. Another reason is the fact that some science fiction clichà ©s have already took such firm roots in people’s imagination that it is virtually impossible to fight them. For example, sound and fire in space – because space is vacuum, there cannot be sound and there is no oxygen to burn. However, if you try to show it in a movie, you first have to explain why it is so, and what you most likely get is accusations of trying to save on special effects. And it is quite likely that there is no need to eliminate these myths. If people like things the way they are, why try to change their picture of the world?

You can obviously tell someone left in a hurry or was taken unexpectedly out of the blue. Glaspells play, typical stereotype where the women are meant to remain in t he kitchen and do things the men instruct them to. Glaspell, was comparatively radical by indicating how these men were covering their spouses, similarly as Mr. Wright did. Mrs. support of Minnie is an early case of the compassion the ladies feel for each other, which brings about dependability. Mrs. Hale knows that it is so hard to run a farmhouse, yet Mr. Henderson does not help. Further, while Mr. Henderson rejects ladies things as insignificant, despite everything he feels the privilege and the need to judge women in their performance. Mrs. Hale sees the treachery of this (probable having encountered it herself), thus she safeguards Minnie against, Mr. Henderson judgment. Glaspell shows how the women are united by their common experiences and loyal to each other because the men do not even try to sympathize with them. Mrs. Hale doesn’t know whether Minnie had a bird, yet recollects that she used to sing delightfully. The women try to figure out what happened to the bird and wonder mutually what happened to the bird from the empty cage, they all come up with their own theories. Impact of Loyalty Programs on Consumer Purchase Behavior

Question: Discuss about the Impact of Loyalty Programs on Consumer Purchase Behavior . Answer: Introduction Service quality and relationship marketing are two important aspects of the current business environment. Service quality entails quality of ideas, action or experience that is offered to customer with exchange for value. Relationship marketing on the other hand is refers to marketing strategy that involves customers participation in marketing of a product or service. There are many literatures that give more information about service quality and related activities that make service delivery to be satisfactory though service is traditionally believed to be intangible. Service can be categorized into tangible, pure service and hybrid of tangible and pure service. Relationship marketing on the other side entails some elements such as social marketing, societal marketing and experiential marketing. Service quality and relationship marketing are interconnected with interactions, networks and service process. The following paper review literature on service quality, relationship marketing and the connection between the two. Goods-Based (2013, pp. 324-35) explains that service refers to an idea, experience, task or activity that can be exchanged for value with the view to satisfy the needs and wants of consumers and businesses. This does not contradict similar definition given by Karmakar (2004, pp 100107) that state service as intangible products that are offered to consumers at a certain value. Achrol and Kotler (2006, pp. 320333) contradict this definition by explaining that service refers to the production of intangible benefit or part of tangible product. Some of the mentioned nature of service includes variability, intangibility and perishability. First and foremost, Grnroos (2006, pp. 354364), indicates that service can be difficult to identify owing to its intangibility and associated to goods. This implies that service lacks the physical evidences depending on the type of service offered. Heiner et al, (2011, pp1), contradict the intangibility of the service by stating that service can also be tangible when place, people, equipment, communication material, symbols, price are attached to service. Moreover, the above elements of service gives physical evidence to service that brings the tangibility of service. Yuping (2007, pp 1935) concludes that service sometimes though has physical evidence; service becomes indistinguishable to tangible good as seen after sale service such as installation. Perishability nature of services according to Miles (2012, pp 285298), is the ability of service to waste due to low demand, time wasted and unaccepted price of service. The perishability nature of service may result from availability of complementary services, low demand, and differential prices. When there are complementary services that customers can resort to during peak seasons. Moreover, low demand for a products make the product to lack customers that can purchase leading to wastage of service. Finally as Gummesson (2006, pp. 339-353), concludes service can have different prices that make its demand to reduce leading to wastage. Variability nature of service as per Gummesson (2007, pp. 113-141) refers to the ability of service to change from one form to another depending on service provider. Services differ depending on the product it is tied to and the service provider. Martinez and Martinez (2007, pp 60-72) states that service variability can be controlled by good hiring and training procedures, service blueprint and monitoring customer satisfaction. Hiring of trained service providers under uniform training can makes service uniform. Development the procedure of offering services can make services be uniform regardless of different service providers. Finally, when a business monitors and reviews customer satisfaction, the customer feedback gives the satisfaction from different services. Variability nature of service makes service categorized in tangible goods service, hybrid of service and tangible and pure service. Kotler et al, (2012) explains that tangible goods service refers to the type of service that also involves tangible good. For instance, a consumer can buy good with after-sale services. When a customer purchase tangible goods the retailer can gives services such as installation and customer care service. In addition, tangible goods and their service element are difficult to separate. As Heiner et al, (2011, pp1) explains tangible good normally require service that sometimes is readily offered by the seller of the product. This does not contradict similar explanation given by Vargo and Lusch (2004a, pp 324335) on tangible product service that also show the connection between good and services tied to it Pure service on the other hand refers to services that are intangible and always are offered to businesses, customer and governments. Pure services as per the definition of Strauss, Ansary and Frost (2003), can be benefit that is accorded some value that is purely intangible. Similarly, Grahame and Mark (2002, pp 8694) explains can be action, system that satisfies needs such as transport, consultation, communication or technological assistance offered to business, government or individual customer. Some businesses are purely service industry since they offers customer services such as financial, accounting and technological services. Firstly, financial services can be in terms of consultation that is offered by economic experts on risk management or project management. Secondly, accounting services according to Vargo and Lusch (2004b, pp. 339-353), include banking services, payment for goods and monetary assistances. Finally, technological services are services such as communication, advertisement and technological information system. Hybrid of goods and services is type of services that include giving product with intangible service attached to the product. The current market the hybrid service is the most common service since most of customers prefer that after purchasing products some other services are also offered as element of product. According to Palmer (2011), some physical evidence may also contribute to the tangibility of the service for example buying table with maintenance service attached to it facilitate the hybrid nature of some service. Service quality on the one hand refers to the comparison between expectations of a service and the performance. Service quality according to Grnroos (2006, pp. 354364), has elements such as improved operation processes, performance measures, problem identification, customers satisfaction measures. Firstly, improving operation process within the business help the business to understand customers needs and adjust operation process according to customer expectation. Secondly, the quality of service offered to customers requires problem identification that affects customers which will otherwise lower the performance of a firm. Thirdly, as Martinez and Martinez (2007, pp 60-72) put it, service quality develops performance measure that ensures that the business performs exceeding the customers expectation. Finally, service quality entails analyzing and measuring customers satisfaction to establish the degree of satisfaction. Determinants of service quality There are some factors that determine the quality of services offered by service production firm. According to Yuping (2007, pp 1935) some of these determinants of service quality include competence, accessibility, credibility, tangibility, security, communication, customer knowledge and reliability. Skills, knowledge and training makes the service providers to be qualify to offer the quality service that is required by customers. Accessibility of the services increase the quality of service since customers can contact the service provider through physical evidence such as office. Credibility as per Brady, Cronin and Brand (2002, pp 17-31) is the worthiness of business that is connected to honesty and good reputation of a company. Tangibility on the other hand provides the physical evidence of service such as office, equipments and the service provider. Security as determinant of service quality reduces risk associated with service such as doubt and financial security. For services t o be of quality three is need for good communication that is connected to customer knowledge. Gap model is a service quality model that is important for service quality process development. The model shows the gap that is required to deliver high quality service to customer as oppose to unsuccessful service delivery. The first gap exists between customer expectation and management perception on service delivery. This gap is due to difference in customers opinion and management view on type of service offered. The second gap exists between management perception and quality service. Sometimes service providers know what clients want but deliver lower standards service. GAP 3 exists between service quality and service delivery. For instance, doctors office has the required standards yet others staffs using the same office are not trained according to the standards required in that position. GAP 4 exists is between external communication and service delivery. Marketing team show the customer the kind of service they offer though the customer expectation according to advertisement is not met. GAP 5 exists between customers experience on service and the expected service creating misunderstanding on the service quality (Frost Kumar 2000, pp 358-377). Relationship marketing refers to marketing strategy that employs customers loyalty, interaction and engagement. According to Miles (2012, pp 285298), relationship marketing ensures there is strong connection between customer and the business through direct provision of services and long-term customer relationship. This implies that relationship marketing promote open customer communication that facilitate connection between customer and the business offering services. As cited by Michael (2007, pp 327334) the overall aim of relationship marketing is to acquire, retain and build relation with customers. The key objectives of relationship marketing include consumer personal value, social influences, consumer segments, and experiential marketing Personal value with respect to product is the beliefs about on product against another product and influences personal purchasing power. Customer personal value is connected to individuals value and influence regarding to purchase behavior and product evaluation. In relationship marketing business establish relationship with customer putting into consideration personal value. Moreover, Goods-Based (2013, pp. 324-35) shows that personal value of customer is important for business since it determines the ability of customer to purchase a product. Social influence on the other hand is connected the social compliance and normative influence brought by peer or reference group. Individuals social group play an important in their ability to purchase certain product. Consumers segmentation comprises of interaction between customers need, behavior and characteristic. Customers needs are consumers demand and their ability to purchase certain product at a price. As cited by Booms and Bitner (1981), customers behaviors are physical, psychological and cultural responses towards a product or service. Customers characteristics are behavioral system of a particular customer that also include their preference and belief about a product. Some other relationship marketing elements includes experiential marketing, Employee empowerment and Social marketing. Experiential marketing refers to the marketing strategy that focuses customer engagements and encourages participation of customers. According to Gummesson (2006, pp. 339-353), experiential is also called engagement marketing. Elements of experiential include customers experience, consumption experience, customers characteristics and eclectic methods. Firstly, customers experience is the emotional and satisfaction experience that contributes largely contributes to customers product or service usage. Physical experience and cognitive experience play role in customers satisfaction on product. Finally, customers characteristic such as beliefs and cultural behavior about a certain product influences customers participation. This is part of experiential marketing that makes employees to participate fully on marketing engagement. Finally, consumers are also part of empowerment through encouragement that influences their behavior in purchasing products (Schmitt 1999, pp 53-67). Social marketing includes all marketing activities with the aim achieving behavioral goal with social good. Social marketing is also associated with societal marketing, sustainable practices and business ethics. Firstly, relationship marketing is connected to societal marketing that allow customers participation on awareness of impact of certain product or service on society. Secondly, sustainable practices are actions of a firm that protect resources and environment from depletion. Thirdly, business ethics are behaviors that are according to acceptable code of conduct (Nelson 2007, pp 98106). Relationship marketing is influence by factors that determines its effectiveness in marketing of services or products. Some of the factors that influence relationship marketing include increase in technology, environmental pressure, growing retail power. As explained by Baron, Conway and Warnaby (2010) Increase or growth in technology has highly influence the marketing activities as customer can connect to business over the internet. Some of the current technological growth that affects marketing include: computerized ordering and inventory, internet, e-commerce. Firstly, with the current technology customers are able to order goods and services using computerized automated systems. Secondly, internet has offers marketing alternative such as email marketing and internet advertisement. Thirdly, e-commerce also known as online shopping is selling and buying of goods and services over the internet. Environmental pressure due to continuous use of resource available is influencing development and use of marketing strategies. Sustainable environmental practices aim to manage environment to avoid available resources from being depleted. In conclusion, environmental pressure influences the type of marketing strategy that is used to market goods or services (Gummesson 2006, pp. 339-353). Wheel of loyalty model is relationship marketing model that is concerned with building of customer relationship. The wheel of loyalty model is founded on three key components; these are build a foundation for loyalty, create loyalty bonds and reduce churn drivers. Firstly, building a foundation for loyalty of customers entails selecting the right customers on the target market segment followed by service delivery beyond the customers satisfaction. Secondly, this is the component of wheel that shows the actual bond between the business and customers. The business may decide to give loyalty rewards to customers to build up bonds. Thirdly, drivers to losing customers and replace the lost customers to the business (Frederick 2001, pp 8485). Wheel of loyalty Service quality is connected to relationship marketing since there is interconnection of service marketing that entails marketing services rather than products. Service offered to customer is aided be some service marketing elements. Service businesses or companies have some marketing strategies that incorporate marketing of services offered by certain firm. According to Martinez and Martinez (2007, pp 60-72), services quality interacts to relationship marketing through interconnection of marketing service management and network and service process. Marketing service management composes of the interaction between marketing network and service process. Marketing service management concerns with the relationship between service delivery and networks. As explained by Gronroos (2007, pp 1) studying of networks and service provisions help in development of good marketing strategy for high quality service provision. Interactions involve customer or client and service provide through establishing of relationship with customers. Creating sustainable customer relationship enhances service delivery and performance of business or service quality. Networks on the other hand refer to service networks that are interlinked determining the quality of service offered to customer. Service process includes giving services to subjective customers depending on time, human resources and customers perception about the service or business (Baron, Conway Warnaby 2010). Service marketing is use of marketing strategies to market services offered as oppose to products. Service marketing incorporates social marketing as an element of relationship marketing in marketing of services. Services may include educational, financial and leisure that are marketed using relationship marketing strategies. According to Booms and Bitner (1981), every business has service offered to customers. Marketing of services has been enhanced by technology, need specialization, privatization of firms, competition, deregulation, quality of life changes and franchising growth. The above factors interconnected forming a system that enable service growth thus service quality. As Miles (2012, pp 285298) concludes, service marketing employs relationship marketing to establish good customer participation that result in service quality. Though there has been augments on intangibility of services, some firms interconnect service quality to service marketing through relationship marketing. Service marketing strategy therefore combines the marketing mix and added dimensions to improve on the quality of service (Achrol and Kotler 2006, pp. 320333). The traditional marketing mix is added dimensions that include service delivery and other Ps. The traditional marketing mix composed of place, price, product and promotion. The dynamic marketing in the current relationship marketing add another Ps to the traditional marketing mix to enhance service quality. These Ps are people, physical evidence, processes, political power and public opinion. Firstly, people are the key participants in the product marketing or service marketing that ensures there is customers participation in the marketing program. Secondly, physical evidence such as equipments, office and people are evidence that make service tangible and eliminate customer doubt or insecurity. Thirdly, service delivery processes is another part of marketing mix that ensures that there are system that is followed to deliver service to clients. Political power governs the current marketing environment and need to be considered before designing marketing mix. Finally, public opinion also forms part of the current marketing mix and gives the customer power to participate in mar keting when there is good reputation of the firm (Booms and Bitner 1981). Additional dimensions to marketing mix Marketing mix that functions currently has some added dimensions such as service delivery and maintenances. The marketing mix that incorporates relationship marketing and service quality is expanded to include other forms of services such as installation, delivery, maintenance, billing, customer education and customer complainants. These services are meant to increase the quality of products and service that is offered to customer (Schmitt 1999, pp 53-67). Marketing triangle is interactive model that connect service delivery to relationship marketing. Marketing triangle is analytical model that connects the three important components of marketing model such as external marketing, internal marketing and interactive marketing (Frederick 2001, pp 8485). At the top of the marketing triangle is the business organization that offers products and services, at the two bottom corners of triangle are employees on one corner and customers on the other corner. Firstly, internal marketing form the side of triangle that connect organization and employees. The interaction exists between company and employees are on training, customers satisfaction techniques and business goals. Secondly, external marketing forms the side between organization and customers. Components of external marketing are advertisement and social media interaction. Thirdly, interactive marketing is the bottom line that connects customers and employees. The interactive marketing r elates to employees service delivery to customers using relationship the marketing strategy (Miles 2012, pp 285298). Coca Cola Company is a very innovative company that has exploits relationship marketing. One of the most interesting bits with Coca Cola involves making service tangible as reflected on Coca Cola logo. Coca Cola Company launches a friendly twist marketing initiative where the marketing team traveled to Colombian college to conduct relationship marketing. During the Coca Cola relationship marketing each fresh college student receives a bottle of Coke. Opening of bottle cap need click with another bottle cap thus students had to collaborate to open bottle cap. Collaboration between students initiated conversation between strangers to remove loneliness. In the marketing strategy makes a cool environment that is associated Coca-Cola logo. The viewers therefore attach positive bonds that are developed through sharing bottle of coke together. Coke therefore plays an important role in making fresh student meet and reduce the awkwardness of first day of college. This implies that coca cola i s associated with friendship, joy and long-lasting memories (Jean Diaz 2016). Starbucks social relationship marketing Starbucks launched online social media-based scavenger hunt program that connects its popular pumpkin spice latte drink to fans in 2014. The company gives consumer first taste of the brand through customer interaction in its twitter handle @TheRealIPSL starting august of 2014. The Starbucks customers were then guided through secrete passcodes called FIRST PSL. By visiting local Starbuck store guest could get beverage early using the passcode. Starbuck ideally receive more customers through this connection and made a huge sale. Many funs submitted 62000 photos in the social media that include their excitement thus Starbuck became the best beverage seller. Starbuck therefore used its social relationship marketing into sales opportunity through creating personality for beverage and interaction with its excited fans on major social media (Starbuck.com). Conclusion Service quality is clearly the quality of produced services and is connected to customer through relationship marketing. There are many models that explain service quality such as gap model. Relationship marketing on the other hand presents strategies that allow participation of customers in the marketing. Marketing triangle explains the relationship marketing through connection between customer, employees and company. Finally, customer wheel of loyalty is the marketing model that combines service quality and relationship marketing. A good example of the relationship marketing is the Coca Cola relationship marketing such as Coca Cola Twist. References Achrol, R, S. Les Brown-You Deserve Essay Example

Les Brown-You Deserve Paper I’m going to start off by saying I’m a huge fan of Mr Brown. I believe he is a great motivator with a dynamic personality. Years ago, Mr Brown was the keynote speaker at one of my family reunions. His speech, although tailored to family, was mainly about the power we have as individuals to achieve personal greatness. I’m not the only one who left that reunion feeling better about myself and my family as awhole. When we watched the speech in class, I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve heard of the You Deserve seminar but had never heard it myself, so I was excited to be able to watch it in class. I was not disappointed at all. This speech basically talked about the fact that we deserve greatness and how we can achieve it. Mr Brown talks about how we are in fact our own worst enemies when it comes to achieving our goals. There is nothing anyone can say to or about you, positive or negative, that will change who you are unless you let it. As a young man who grew up misdiagnosed as educably mentally retarded and held back in school not once but twice, I’m sure Les Brown wasn’t the most confident student. But, while everyone else had given up on him, Mr Brown met a man who let him know that the label given to him didn’t define him. With that knowledge, Mr Brown has become a success who uses his successes to create success in others. The speech reached me in ways that may not have reached others. I find that I am always my worst enemy when it comes to reaching my goals. It’s not a lack of confidence but a penchant of making excuses and not going all the way in trying to achieve my goals. It’s almost like become afraid of my actual potential. I don’t like having that â€Å"what if† feeling, and unless I do something about it, that’s the way stuff is going to be. I will once again say that Mr Brown is a magnificent motivator, but the truth of the matter is once you see this program, and apply what you’ve learned, your life will change by leaps and bounds. But, you have to actually put in the work to do so. Otherwise, you could have the knowledge and do nothing about it. What a waste that would be.

Unknown Plasmid - Restriction Enzymes, Gel Electrophoresis, and Transformation essays

Unknown Plasmid - Restriction Enzymes, Gel Electrophoresis, and Transformation essays Using DNA technology, including restriction enzymes, gel electrophoresis, and transformation we performed two experiments to identify an unknown plasmid. The first experiment involved gel electrophoresis of plasmid DNA with and with out restriction enzymes to determine migration and number of base pairs in specific fragments. Known DNA fragments were used to determine the size of the unknown fragments. Plasmid maps of pKAN and pAMP were used to compare the sizes to the unknown sizes, where by identification of the unknown was pKAN. The second experiment used the same unknown plasmid in a transformation to bacteria E.coli HD. The recombinant DNA of the bacteria was analyzed by growing the bacteria in plates containing antibiotics. The growth of the unknown sample was shown only in the pKAN/LB plate and the LB (standard medium) plate, thus the bacteria contained DNA which held resistance to kanamycin, a characteristic of the pKAN plasmid. Through the results of both experiments we th erefore conclude that the unknown plasmid was pKAN. Recombinant DNA is the extracting DNA from one genome and incorporating it into another genome. This genetic technology is used in a variety of ways and benefits a variety of people and industries. The usage of recombinant DNA makes products like insulin for those who are diabetic. Other health related uses include synthesis of vaccines and antibiotics, and research is currently being conducted to further integrate recombinant DNA into the world of medicine and health. Another important use of recombinant DNA is in agriculture. Both animal and crop agriculture benefit from this technology, plants can be created with greater pest resistance and higher quality, and animals can be injected with hormones synthesized through recombinant DNA to help regulate and improve their growth and reproduction. DNA technology has hundreds of applications, thus has its place firmly established in the realm of scienc...

International Relations - OpED Assignment Term Paper

International Relations - OpED Assignment - Term Paper Example The sophisticated arms that they used and the manner of the attacks point to a well funded, well trained group that bears the signature of the Lahkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) and its several variants. Unlike in the case of many of the other terror attacks where bombs were placed in crowded places, this was a strange attack like the one on Parliament in 2002. The targeting of well known landmarks and high profile places including â€Å"Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus†, the Taj and Trident hotels and Nariman house shows some previous knowledge of the place obtained by regular visits or through local people. Mumbai as the country’s financial and business centre has always been an obvious target for those seeking to destabilize the Indian state and terrorist’s attacks have been occurring in the city in the recent past. To maximize international attention, the terrorists have targeted Cafe Leopold, and Nariman house both visited by tourists frequently besides the hotels. Some reports speak of their seeking foreign nationals, mainly American and British for hostage-taking. The interrogation of those in custody should provide some details of the people and the organization behind the attack. The use of sea route by terrorists who could have landed on a small boat from out of a larger vessel in the high seas off the coast of Mumbai opens up the possibility of their coming in from Karachi. While the government of Pakistan appears to be serious in putting any form of support that it’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) provided for terrorism behind and in its pursuit of improved relations with India, there are several groups in the country that go about quiet openly recruiting and training people for terrorist attacks in India. Given the series of attacks within Pakistan itself, its government’s determination and ability to contain terrorist element within is no doubt open to question. Nevertheless, Islamabad needs to reminded once again to

In a culturally diverse word, the universality of human rights remains Assignment - 1

In a culturally diverse word, the universality of human rights remains unsettled. Discuss - Assignment Example All people should not be denied their rights unless in a situation that demands legal action against them. For example, the right to liberty can be withdrawn when a person becomes guilty and gets convicted of an offence. International human rights law in the form of treaties, international law, general principles, and other international law sources are factors that determine Human rights. International law seeks to achieve the universality of human rights; however, it faces challenges resulting from the current cultural diversity. Culture is the people’s way of life and contributes much to aspects of their lives. The different cultures that exist in the world are a challenge to trying to implement human rights law. Some cultures would not allow some actions as they differ with them. This work seeks to discuss how the diverse culture in the world contributes to the efforts put towards achieving or settling universality of human rights. It will discuss how the culture relates t o human rights and how it contributes either negatively or positively towards achieving the universality of human rights. It will also focus on different organizations formed to protect and educate the public on understanding their culture and human rights, and how their progress is at present. Background Information Although there have been developments in evolution of human rights, the process is under serious challenge. From 1945, more development of international human rights standards has occurred as compared to previous years (Forsythe, 2009: xviii). However, international issues like Chinese development as a world power, and the United States’ efforts to maintain national security after the September 2001 attack challenge these developments on human rights. As much as the international community talks of human rights and rights laws, there is a violation of the rights as a result of these developments. People did not know about human rights until 1945, but the United S tates and France practiced ‘rights of man’ although no human rights treaties existed until the period of United Nations. The treaties that existed were rights of foreigners. According to Forsythe, it is D. Roosevelt and others who pushed for inclusion of human rights in the United Nations charter. They believed that human rights contributed to international security and peace and that it was human rights’ violation that led to the origin of World War II (Forsythe, 2009: xviii). The quest to adoption of human rights to the UN charter became the origin of their development. Universality of Human Rights Universality is the quality of being dominant or available. Human rights universality is thus the ability to the existence of human rights to every human being. Universality is rather the ability of a society or state to allow its citizens to enjoy the availability of human rights. The diversity in culture, in the present world, affects the universality of human righ ts in various ways. Different cultures affect how their citizens enjoy the provision of human rights. According to Osiatyn?ski, the African take on human rights was not on an individual basis; it focused on the community. This is an indication that culture has a relative impact on human rights universality. In most tribes, in Africa, for example, the decision to marry does not come from a girl, but it is a decision made by the family and clan or the community, depending on the family status (Osiatyn?ski, 2009:128). This practice
